FAQ's
What is baby massage & baby yoga?

Baby Massage & Baby Yoga are age old traditions that support emotional and physical development through intentional, loving touch.

Integrating baby massage and yoga into daily routines offers long-term benefits for both baby and caregiver, enriching early development and laying the foundation for lifelong health and happiness.
What age can my baby start massage?

Most babies can begin massage from around 6-8 weeks old. I’ll show you safe, gentle techniques that are right for your baby’s age and stage.
What are the benefits of baby massage?

Massage supports bonding, encourages relaxation, helps babies sleep better, eases tummy troubles (like colic and constipation), and can reduce crying. It’s also a lovely way for parents to feel more confident and connected
Do I need special oils or equipment?

Not at all! A bottle of organic sunflower oil and a soft towel is provided in a safe, warm space.
What if my baby cries during class?

That’s completely normal! Babies communicate through crying. You are welcome to stop and comfort, feed, or cuddle your baby at any time. Our sessions are baby-led, and there’s no pressure to keep up.
Can both parents (or carers) take part?

Absolutely! Baby massage is a wonderful bonding experience for mams, dads, and caregivers. Everyone is welcome
How long does a session last?

Classes usually last around 1 hour, with plenty of breaks built in so you and your baby feel relaxed and comfortable
Is baby massage safe for all babies?

Yes, when taught correctly. If your baby has any health concerns or medical conditions, it’s always best to check with your healthcare provider first.
What should I bring to class?

Just bring a yourselves, nappies, and anything else your baby might need for comfort (like a dummy or bottle). I’ll provide everything else.
What if I can’t remember all the strokes at home?
Don’t worry — I’ll give you simple guides (handouts and videos) so you can practice with confidence at home.
Do you offer private sessions?

Yes! If you’d prefer 1:1 support, I offer private sessions tailored to your baby and family.
